I think I'm retaining a bit of fluid

**Warning** picture of feet below. Don't look if pictures of feet gross you out LOL

I don't have a before short for comparison, but trust me, my feet are not usually that big or sausage like! Check the left ankle! and this is at 10 in the morning! you should see them by 10 at night. Sometimes they feel like they are going to explode. Fortunately my blood pressure is perfectly fine, so my fluid retention is "nothing to worry about" (according to the midwife lol) she's not the one trying to walk around on those things! Actually this is nothing compared to what it was like in my first pregnancy. I'll get a pic of my hands one day soon too. A friend commented that they looked like "man-hands" on the weekend. Ah, the joys of pregnancy.

Oh, btw, the lizard isn't real. But it does look like he finds my feet a tasty prospect LOL

Oh Kim isn't pregnancy an absolute joy, I can never get my head around women who enjoy it. At least it's nearly over - though if you're anything like me if one more person tells me not long to go I'll cry!

:( It's no fun and none of your shoes end up fitting.

shoes?! what are shoes?! LOL Lucky it's not cold here yet at least!

I'm with you Peta. I've never been able to get my head around that either LOL but then I seem to suffer from just about every ailment that pregnancy can throw at you! Lucky women who breeze through.

only 27 days to go...

ah, you poor gal. Try drinking some protein drinks, sustagen etc I had them after having B cos I couldn't bend knees or ankles due to bad fluid and same as you I had no shoes that fit.

Hope it eases soon

Oh dear! Not long to go! I hope someone special is giving your feet/legs a rub each night...you need to rub up towards your heart...you could always try to find a reflexologist for some relief!

But yk giving birth should fix it all ;).

I'm getting foot rubs each night :) and last night I spent much of the evening after dinner on the couch with my feet up. they didn't deflate, but it did take the pressure off LOL

the pain of giving birth really doesn't seem so daunting to me at this point in pregnancy! I'd pan-fry my own thigh if it meant my feet would stop swelling up and my hands would stop hurting LOL
